Here, Bad Bunny raps about a quiet girl who likes to party hard. He calls her a "callaita," meaning a woman who is shy and unassuming but loosens up after a few drinks.
The song was released on May 31, 2019, as a single for the summer season. It topped the charts in Spain and spent much of the summer in the Hot 100, peaking at #52.
"Callaita" was produced by reggaeton architect Tainy, who has 12 credits on Bad Bunny's debut album X 100pre. "I didn't really give him any direction. Sometimes you just feel it," Tainy told Genius. "You say like, 'I need to show this beat to this guy.' Like here it is. Go crazy with it man.'"
