Did You Know?

Interesting facts and trivia about Oh My Goodness. By Songfacts®.

Olly Murs' third single from his second studio album In Case You Didn't Know finds him singing of those head-over-heels feelings of falling in love. "You got me dreaming of a life/that anybody else would die for," he croons. The song was released on March 12, 2012.

Murs penned the song with former vocalist of '80s Blues-Rock trio Martin Brammer, who has also collaborated with James Morrison on several of his cuts and ex-country performer Adam Argyle who also penned Melanie C's hit single "Next Best Superstar," which won the award for Best International Hit at the 2005 German Radio Awards. The trio have also penned several others of Murs' tracks including "Busy,"and "I Need You Now."

Murs told Artist Direct that the inspiration for this song came from when, "this really hot girl walked by and I began thinking about what life would be like if I got with her and how amazing it would be."
