This song finds Martin Courtney addressing the strange sensation of returning to the neighborhood streets where he spent his youth. He told Uncut magazine: "I wrote the music for that song in my parents' attic, where I had a little studio set up for a while in the fall of 2012, before we got our own practice space in Brooklyn." "The lyrics are inspired by sitting in the attic of the house I grew up in," he added, "recording demos in the middle of the afternoon, a month after I got married. Just feeling weird and old, I guess."
