This song extolling the joys of sex is by the comedy troupe The Lonely Island, assisted by R&B singer Akon. It was released as the first single from their second album, Turtleneck & Chain, and became their first Hot 100 Top 40 hit when it debuted at #30.
The Lonely Island are an American comedy hip-hop group composed of Andy Samberg, Jorma Taccone and Akiva Schaffer. They started making live comedy skits in junior high school and in time expanded their repertoire to music parodies, which have achieved huge success on the internet. All three were involved with Saturday Night Live, Samburg as a cast member and Taccone and Schaffer as writers; "I Just Had Sex" was featured in a skit on the December 18, 2010 episode of the show.
The song's music video features guest appearances by Jessica Alba, Blake Lively and John McEnroe, with the former tennis star cropping up as an old man transformed into a happy person by having sex.
