This is a braggadocios song in which Cardi B and 21 Savage boast about their luxury items and sex life. During his verse, 21 Savage makes a major claim when he states that he is "the greatest rapper came out the South." Meanwhile, Cardi swats down those haters who doubt her longevity in the rap game, telling them they should "wish wish."
The song marks the second collaboration between 21 and Khaled, following 2017's "Iced Out My Arms." Cardi B and Khaled previously worked together when they were both featured on "Dinero" by Jennifer Lopez exactly one year before the release of "Wish Wish". Cardi and 21 Savage have also worked together before on the Bronx rapper's Invasion of Privacy track "Bartier Cardi."
Khaled produced the cut with Tay Keith. The Memphis beatmaker's other credits include Blocboy featuring Drake's "Look Alive" and Travis Scott's "Sicko Mode."
