This girl power anthem finds Saweetie and Doja Cat trading verses about their close knit-friendship, highlighting each other's wealth, sexual allure, and independence. It is their first collaboration together.
This celebration of camaraderie is the third single from Saweetie's debut studio album, Pretty Bitch Music. Warner Records prematurely released the track on Apple Music and Deezer on December 4, 2020, before withdrawing it after the Bay Area rapper complained they'd put it out earlier than planned. Warner properly released the song on January 6, 2021.
Saweetie and Doja Cat wrote the ode to friendship with: Theron Thomas, one half of the songwriting duo Rock City, who had their own hit in 2015 with "Locked Away." Thomas' other writing credits include Lizzo's "Juice" and Doja Cat's "Like That." Kaine (real name Eric Von Jackson Jr.), who is a member of the hip-hop duo The Ying Yang Twins. Newcomer Na'Asia Smith. Dr. Luke, who is a frequent collaborator of both Saweetie ("Tap In") and Doja Cat ("Say So," "Like That"). Rocco Did It Again! whose other credits include DaBaby's "Jump." Dr. Luke and Rocco Did It Again! produced the song.
