Progressive Doom

Progressive Doom is a subgenre of Doom Metal that combines elements of traditional Doom Metal with progressive rock and metal. It is characterized by slow, heavy riffs, often with complex time signatures and structures, and often incorporates elements of jazz, classical, and folk music. The lyrics are often dark and introspective, and the vocals are usually low and guttural. Progressive Doom is often seen as a more experimental and progressive form of Doom Metal, and is often seen as a bridge between traditional Doom Metal and more progressive forms of metal.
