Deep Metalcore

Deep Metalcore is a subgenre of metalcore that combines elements of metalcore with elements of post-hardcore, progressive metal, and melodic death metal. It is characterized by heavy, distorted guitar riffs, breakdowns, and screamed vocals. Deep Metalcore often features complex song structures, intricate guitar solos, and dynamic drumming. It is often seen as a more technical and progressive version of metalcore, and is often associated with bands such as August Burns Red, The Devil Wears Prada, and Architects.
