Melodic Thrash

Melodic Thrash is a subgenre of Thrash Metal that combines the aggression and speed of Thrash Metal with the melodic elements of traditional Heavy Metal. It is characterized by fast, aggressive riffs, often with a melodic edge, and often incorporates elements of traditional Heavy Metal such as twin guitar harmonies and solos. The vocals are usually harsh and aggressive, but can also be melodic. Melodic Thrash is often seen as a bridge between traditional Thrash Metal and Power Metal.
