Finnish Power Metal is a subgenre of heavy metal music that originated in Finland in the early 1990s. It is characterized by its fast-paced, melodic sound, often featuring soaring vocals, heavy guitar riffs, and double-bass drumming. The genre is heavily influenced by traditional heavy metal, but also incorporates elements of progressive metal, symphonic metal, and folk metal.
