Greek Metal

Greek Metal is a subgenre of heavy metal music that originated in Greece in the late 1980s. It is characterized by its use of traditional Greek instruments, such as the bouzouki, and its incorporation of traditional Greek folk music elements. Greek Metal bands often sing in Greek and incorporate traditional Greek melodies and rhythms into their music. The genre is heavily influenced by traditional Greek music, as well as by other metal genres such as thrash metal, death metal, and black metal. Greek Metal bands often have a strong political and social message, and many of their lyrics are about Greek history and mythology.
