Nu Gaze

Nu Gaze is a subgenre of alternative rock that emerged in the early 2000s. It combines elements of shoegaze, dream pop, and post-rock, and is characterized by its dreamy, ethereal soundscapes, heavy use of reverb and delay, and often melancholic lyrics. Nu Gaze bands often use a combination of electric and acoustic instruments, and often feature female vocals. Notable Nu Gaze bands include M83, Beach House, and Slowdive.
