Futurepop

Futurepop is a genre of electronic music that combines elements of synthpop, trance, and EBM (electronic body music). It is characterized by its use of synthesizers, sequencers, and drum machines to create a futuristic sound. It often features heavily distorted vocals and a driving beat. The genre is often associated with the late 1990s and early 2000s, when it was popularized by artists such as VNV Nation, Covenant, and Apoptygma Berzerk.
