Oud

Oud music is a genre of traditional Middle Eastern music that is played on a stringed instrument of the same name. The oud is a pear-shaped lute with 11 strings, and is one of the oldest instruments in the world. Oud music is characterized by its intricate melodies, complex rhythms, and improvisational nature.
