P Funk

P Funk is a genre of funk music created by George Clinton and his collective of musicians known as Parliament-Funkadelic. It is characterized by its heavy use of synthesizers, drum machines, and vocoders, as well as its funky bass lines, syncopated rhythms, and its often humorous and outrageous lyrics. P Funk is also known for its use of extended jams and improvisation, as well as its incorporation of elements from other genres such as soul, jazz, and rock.
