Early Avant Garde

Early Avant Garde music is a genre of experimental music that emerged in the early 20th century. It is characterized by its use of unconventional and often dissonant harmonies, extended techniques, and a focus on timbre and texture rather than traditional melodic and harmonic structures. It often incorporates elements of other genres such as jazz, classical, and folk music, as well as elements of chance and improvisation.
