Canadian Black Metal

Canadian Black Metal is a subgenre of extreme metal music that originated in Canada in the early 1990s. It is characterized by its fast tempos, raw production, and aggressive, often misanthropic lyrics. The genre is heavily influenced by Scandinavian black metal, but also incorporates elements of death metal, thrash metal, and doom metal.
