Aussie Emo

Aussie Emo is a subgenre of emo music that originated in Australia in the early 2000s. It is characterized by its melodic, often melancholic sound, and its lyrical themes of heartache, loneliness, and introspection. It is heavily influenced by punk and indie rock, and often features dual male/female vocal harmonies. It is often compared to American emo, but has a more upbeat, pop-punk sound.
