Florida Hardcore

Florida Hardcore is a subgenre of hardcore punk that originated in the state of Florida in the late 1980s and early 1990s. It is characterized by its fast tempos, aggressive vocals, and heavy breakdowns. The genre is heavily influenced by thrash metal and crossover thrash, and is often associated with skate punk and skate culture. Florida Hardcore bands often have a strong DIY ethic, and many of the bands are still active today.
