VBS (Vaporwave Bedroom Synth) is a subgenre of vaporwave that focuses on creating dreamy, nostalgic, and often melancholic soundscapes. It is characterized by its use of synthesizers, drum machines, and samples from 80s and 90s pop music, as well as its heavy reliance on reverb and other effects to create a hazy, dreamlike atmosphere. VBS often features slowed-down and pitch-shifted vocals, as well as a heavy emphasis on ambient and chillout elements.
