Brazilian Black Metal is a subgenre of extreme metal music that originated in Brazil in the early 1990s. It is characterized by its fast tempos, aggressive guitar riffs, and dark, often Satanic lyrical themes. The genre is heavily influenced by traditional black metal from Norway, but also incorporates elements of death metal, thrash metal, and folk music. Brazilian Black Metal bands often use Portuguese lyrics, and the music often has a distinct Latin American flavor.
