Taiwan Metal

Taiwan Metal is a subgenre of heavy metal music that originated in Taiwan in the late 1990s. It is characterized by its aggressive sound, fast tempos, and heavy guitar riffs. It is often influenced by traditional Chinese music, as well as other genres such as punk, hardcore, and thrash metal. The lyrics are often in Mandarin Chinese and focus on topics such as social issues, politics, and personal struggles. Taiwan Metal bands often incorporate traditional Chinese instruments such as the erhu and guzheng into their music. Popular Taiwan Metal bands include Chthonic, Fire Ex, and Revive.
