Deep Motown

Deep Motown is a subgenre of soul music that originated in Detroit, Michigan in the late 1950s and early 1960s. It is characterized by its heavy use of strings, horns, and gospel-style vocals, as well as its slower tempo and more introspective lyrics. Deep Motown is often associated with the classic Motown sound, but it is distinguished by its more soulful and emotional approach.
