Nasyid

Nasyid is a genre of Islamic devotional music popular in Malaysia, Indonesia, and other parts of Southeast Asia. It is characterized by its use of traditional instruments such as the rebab, gendang, and kompang, as well as its focus on religious lyrics. The lyrics often focus on Islamic themes such as faith, prayer, and morality. Nasyid is often performed in a cappella style, but can also include accompaniment from traditional instruments.
