Tropical Tecladista

Tropical Tecladista is a genre of electronic music that originated in Mexico City in the early 2000s. It is a fusion of traditional Mexican music, such as mariachi and cumbia, with modern electronic music styles, such as house, techno, and drum and bass. The genre is characterized by its use of traditional Mexican instruments, such as the vihuela, guitarron, and jarana, as well as synthesizers and drum machines. It is often characterized by its upbeat, danceable rhythms and its incorporation of traditional Mexican melodies and rhythms.
