Guitarra Andina is a style of music from the Andes Mountains of South America. It is a mix of traditional Andean folk music and modern Latin American styles. It is characterized by its use of the charango, a small 10-stringed guitar-like instrument, as well as other traditional Andean instruments such as the quena (a flute), the bombo (a drum), and the zampoña (a panpipe). The music is often upbeat and lively, and often features complex rhythms and melodies. It is popular in Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador, and Chile.
