This tribute to dependable good ol' boys finds Luke Combs celebrating small successes. Among the everyday achievements he recounts are a baseball hit, a prom date, and getting the one phone call his jailed brother was allowed to make. "You should be able to say with confidence, 'I did that,'" Combs told Radio.com. "Maybe it's not winning the gold medal at the Olympics but I'm proud of it."
Combs believes there's nothing wrong with being proud of the little stuff. At school, he was delighted with getting a B grade as that was the best he could do. "I think my life has been a series of those kinds of things, before I started doing this," he told The Boot. "Things that I really tried hard at, but I just wasn't very good at. I'm still proud that I did them. I'm still proud at trying to be better at those things."
Eric Church joins in on the latter half of the track. Combs is a long-time fan of the "Some Of It" singer. In fact, Church's songs first got him into country music.
