This upbeat declaration of love is the first single from Los Angeles R&B singer-songwriter Miguel's second album Kaleidoscope Dream. It was originally released as part of his Art Dealer Chic: Vol 1 mixtape.
Jason Beattie directed the song's music video, which was shot in Los Angeles. It was inspired by the freedom of dreams. "I believe dreams represent the purest form of fantasy we unleash through our subconscious," Miguel told Singers Room. "They represent the truest freedom we can experience. Totally un-repressed and totally creative."
Miguel performed this song with Wiz Khalifa at the Grammy Awards in 2013. The performance earned plaudits from Kelly Clarkson, who when accepting her award for Best Pop Vocal Album, said it was "sexy" and requested a collaboration with Miguel.
