B.J. Snowden doesn't sound like a trained musician, but apparently she graduated with a degree in music; according to Songs in the Key of Z: The Curious Universe of Outsider Music, her musical tour of Canada was written after a holiday north of the border. The song finds her paying tribute to the Great White North in very simple terms: In Canada They'll treat you like a queen In Canada They never will be mean
Snowden is American, but made her mark writing and performing songs about Canada. Some of her other songs include "New Brunswick," "Newfoundland (Oh Nuffy)," and "Nova Scotia (Oh Novie)."
