William Schultz is a Los Angeles rapper and singer who records under the name of Sueco (previously Sueco The Child). He first gained notoriety when his hypnotic track "Fast" went viral on TikTok, earning him a deal with Atlantic Records. This rock song gave him his first entry on the Hot 100.
The song is about a toxic relationship. Though Sueco realizes it's bad for him, he doesn't want the romance to end. You got me paralyzed Go ahead, baby, take my life 'Cause I don't wanna live if I'm living without you Sueco feels trapped. Though he loves his girlfriend, he gets exasperated by her big ego, and they're forever arguing. As the saying goes, he can't live with her and can't live without her.
This is Sueco's second attempt at a rock song, following his collaboration with Travis Barker, "SOS." For "Paralyzed," he hooked up with: Leading pop-punk producer John Feldmann, who is a frequent collaborator with 5 Seconds of Summer, blink-182 and Panic! at the Disco. Producer Colin "Doc" Brittain (All Time Low's "Dirty Laundry," Papa Roach's "Sunrise Trailer Park," A Day to Remember's "Everything We Need").
