Justin penned this synthesizer-heavy track with The Messengers production duo, who comprise Nasri Atweh and Adam Messinger plus Nolan Lambroza. The Messengers have collaborated with Justin on a number of his previous songs, including his hit singles "Pray," "Never Say Never and "Mistletoe."

The song finds Justin reuniting with Ludacris, the American rapper who helped make the Canadian singer's "Baby," a breakout hit.

Justin's first US network television special was titled after this song. Justin Bieber Believe: All Around the World aired on NBC on June 21, 2012.
