This song is bookended by the hook, which is a reprisal of Drake's chorus on Rick Ross' "Aston Martin Music." It is addressed to the model Paris Morton, with Drake apologizing for getting caught up in his busy lifestyle and leaving her hanging. Drake adds a new rapped verse addressed to Paris Morton in which he remembers the times he had with her. He ends it by saying that in putting his memories of their time together on wax, he's shown he hasn't forgotten her.
Drake originally recorded the song in 2010. A sequel was featured on Drake's 2013 album, Nothing Was the Same as the outro of "Pound Cake/Paris Morton Music 2" featuring Jay-Z. On August 2, 2019, "Paris Morton Music" was included on Care Package, a compilation of stray songs and unreleased tracks.
