Only 92 seconds long, this is a mix of wailing vocals, overdriven guitars, and pulsating drum beats. The only completely understandable lyrics arrive at the end, with Kurt Cobain screaming, "Cold Heart."

The song title refers to Tourette syndrome, a neurological disorder associated with tics like blinking, grimacing, sniffing and throat cleaning. In some cases, the tics can be inappropriate language; those cases are rare, but are often the focus of media attention.

Nirvana revealed this song to the public when they played it at the Reading Festival in Reading, England in 1992.
