Disappointing

This is a Favorite Things-style song which lists various things that are all "disappointing, compared to you." It finds John Grant duetting with the English singer-songwriter Tracey Thorn, who is best known as being one half of the duo Everything But The Girl. Grant told Uncut: "She came to my Royal Festival Hall show and I met her at the aftershow when I was able to gush at her and say she's been a huge voice in my life for three decades. I was over the moon when she agreed to be on the record, because her voice is like a warm blanket."
