Chad Kroeger wrote this song about a past girlfriend. She was "Old Enough" to move to Vancouver with him(considering they were both 21), although the girl's parents disapproved. The throwing up part is about her drinking too much.
This was used on the soundtrack to the movie Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2.
