Flaw's vocalist Chris Volz told Popzine Online that the song is "really about realizing you have the power to feel about yourself the way you want and everyone else can f--k off." Volz continued, saying, "There are so many people that will try to bring you down, so instead of listening to what those people have to say, besides from family, friends, and loved ones. Just knowing that you are strong and that will help everyone survive."
This was featured on the soundtrack for the 2002 film The Scorpion King, starring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.
An acoustic piano version shows up as a hidden track on the Through The Eyes album. After the last song on the track list, "One More Time," there's about two minutes of silence before it plays.
