Williams made the track in 2019 during a 3-day writing break with Paramore touring bassist Joey Howard and Steph Marziano. She explained on Instagram: "Had to envision myself as an aerobics instructor (who's actually secretly a robot) in a post-apocalyptic society in order to get these super positive lyrics out."
Williams filmed an energetic workout video for the track while stuck at home bored during the coronavirus lockdown. She told fans: "Here's an exercise routine so short you don't even need to put your hair up in ponytail."
