Rowan Harrington is a Techno/House DJ and producer who records under the name of SecondCity. Harrington was born in Chicago, Illinois, and moved to the United Kingdom with his parents when he was 12. He was one half of the house duo Taiki & Nulight before leaving to focus on his own career. This bright house track is his debut solo single. Released on May 25, 2014 it immediately reached #1 in the UK.
The song samples Toni Braxton's "You're Makin' Me High," which was the singer's first #1 single on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1996. It also reached #7 in the UK.
The lead vocals are provided by powerhouse session singer Kelli-Leigh who was previously sampled on Duke Dumont's "I Got U." "Gotta Get Thru This" singer-songwriter Daniel Bedingfield sings the male vocals.
