Did You Know?

Interesting facts and trivia about Rat Bat Blue. By Songfacts®.

Running to 5 minutes 23 seconds, "Rat Bat Blue" is the fifth track - Side 2, Track 1 - on Who Do We Think We Are. A group composition, it is said to be Roger Glover's favorite track on the January 1973 album and is, as he told Michael Heatley in The Complete Deep Purple, "about picking up a loose chick for the night." Two years later, Glover married his first wife, so presumably he had outgrown the rock star/groupie phase by that time.
