Mount Kimbie is an English electronic music duo consisting of Dominic Maker and Kai Campos. The lead single from their third album, Love What Survives, this features the voice of the duo's frequent collaborator James Blake.
Campos told Crack Magazine the story of the song: "Dom and James were working on more hip-hop focused stuff in terms of use of samples and tempo and this came out of that period. We tried to let James tell his story and talked about the music kind of following him in quite literal ways which was fun."
