This tells the story of falling for a girl who is not into guys at all. The lyrics are based on a real-life experience that happened to one of The Vamps. Guitarist James McVey told Digital Spy: "It's a concept that happened to one of us but we embellished it and exaggerated it in the song. It was never a relationship where she went off with anyone or anything," he explained. "One of us started liking someone and then she said 'No, I like girls.' It wasn't great. Friend-zoned to the max." "We're not saying that there's anything wrong with it. That's where I would think someone was being inappropriate, if they were saying that and that it's bad. For us it was just a bit of fun," McVey added. "It's a funny thing for us and we're not trying to be controversial and say that it's wrong. We're just finding it funny that it happened to one of us."
Asked about the lyric, "I made a move, she said 'Baby you're mistaken, I'm not into bacon," McVey said: "I think it's quite an American thing. A lot of people don't know that it says that. When we've got it on the radio they never question it and think it's a bit inappropriate, so we're quite lucky we got away with it really."
A new version was recorded for the single release featuring additional vocals by "Cheerleader" singer Omi.
