Did You Know?

Interesting facts and trivia about Mirror. By Songfacts®.

During this disco-tinged self-love song, Sigrid sings of learning to love herself. The Norwegian pop singer addresses a former lover during the verses, apologizing to him for breaking away from their relationship. She needed to be on her own before she could start accepting herself. By the time we get to the chorus, Sigrid is full of confidence and has fallen in love with the person she sees in the mirror.

Sigrid wrote the song with the Norwegian songwriter Caroline Ailin and frequent Chainsmokers collaborator Emily Warren. Ailen and Warren also co-wrote Dua Lipa's hit songs "New Rules" and "Don't Start Now."

Danish producer Sly helmed the track. His other credits include Chainsmokers' "Side Effects" and Dua Lipa's "We're Good."
