Atlanta singer and rapper 6lack joins Lil Tjay halfway through the track. His verse has the same theme of an ex who is unable to move on.

After previewing the track several times on Twitter and TikTok, Lil Tjay released the song on February 12, 2021. He described it as "a nice Valentine's Day gift for ya."
