This is the lead single from Anglo/Swedish Indie/Pop band The Hoosiers second studio album, The Illusion of Safety.

The Hoosiers released a 43-minute version of the song renamed "Stop Giving My Verses," in aid of The Teenage Cancer Trust, and in doing so broke the world record for the longest ever single. Fans were asked to submit lyrics for new verses and those who had their verse used had a picture of their face displayed in the accompanying video while their lyrics were performed. Guitarist Martin Skarendahl told UK's Channel 4 how the idea came about: "We'd heard a punk-metal band had done a 42-minute song, which was the longest song ever released, so we had the idea to do a 43-minute song and get our fans involved. They wrote verses for us to sing because frankly we couldn't be bothered to write that many lyrics!"

The song's music video was directed by the duo "Diamond Dogs," who also helmed the clips for the Hoosiers previous hit singles "Worried About Ray," "Goodbye Mr. A" and "Cops and Robbers."
