Interesting facts and trivia about Goodies (feat. T.I. & Jazze Pha). By Songfacts®.

The rapping on this track was done by the Southern Hip-Hop artist Petey Pablo. "Goodies" was penned as a female answer song to Pablo's hit "Freek-a-Leek."

Hip-Hop producer Lil' Jon, who helmed this track, explained in publicity materials for Goodies: "Crunk & B songs are R&B songs that get you crunk. They make you wanna wild out." He added that this song "is a female-empowerment record. The female has the power. The female is in control on this song. This is one of those records for the ladies."
