Mike Rosenberg is a British singer-songwriter who records under the name Passenger. He wrote this lighthearted, tongue-in-cheek song for his third album, All The Little Lights. Rosenberg told VH1: "You know that thing at school where your taught that if you work really hard, you can achieve anything? At the time of writing [this song], I just didn't agree with that. It felt like bulls--t."
