This song about the pressure of urban living features a lyric about breaking down on the Metro. "It's a feeling many people who live in cities experience," vocalist Caroline Polachek explained to The Guardian. "When you're completely consumed by bulls--t anxieties, and someone who loves you calls you out in the most sweet and forgiving way and suddenly you're hit with this thunderbolt of perspective."
Caroline Polachek told MTV News this is her favorite track on Moth, "because it feels sort of like the most 'us,' like the most 'Chairlift' of the whole record. It feels so relatable to me in a lot of different moments. I think it relatable to a lot of other people too."
