Monica sings praises to her husband, basketball player Shannon Brown, on this Polow Da Don produced track. "It's a record about just being in love and there's no perfect person, but there is a perfect person for you, and that's the way it is by design," she explained to Rap-Up.com.
Lil Wayne joins Monica on the track, kicking things off with a verse for the ladies.
The black-and-white video, helmed by the Rite Brothers, merges together Monica and Lil Wayne's worlds as they take over a graffiti-covered skate park. While Monica showcases her vocal skills, Weezy and his crew perform tricks on their skateboards. "I am very proud of the 'Just Right for Me' video because it showcases my love for R&B music and Tunechi's love for skateboarding in a fun, raw and authentic way," Monica told Complex.
