This is the title track of Icelandic post-rock band Sigur Rós' sixth studio album. Bassist Georg Hólm revealed to Q magazine that the album title translates to "steamroller" in English. "The music kind of just rolls over you. In a good way," he explained. Valtari was released on May 29, 2012 on Parlophone.
The album cover is by vocalist Jónsi's sisters, Lilja and Inga Birgisdóttir. The latter was the baby on the cover art for Sigur Rós' debut album, Von.
