This anthemic Mark Beeson, Sam Hunt and Josh Osborne penned track about youthful nostalgia was the first tune that producer Dann Huff sent Currington after the pair agreed to work together. "I listened to it 20 times," Currington said. "About the third time, I called Dann saying, 'Man, count me in!' I couldn't wait. I was really, really antsy to get in the studio with this song. There was something about it. I knew he would bring a really amped up production on it and make it sound like it was in an arena or stadium. And he did. It came out exactly like I wanted it to."
The song's music video was directed by Kristin Barlowe, who was also responsible for Currington's "Hey Girl" clip. It was shot at the DeKalb County Fairgrounds in Alexandria, Tennessee, which is one of the oldest running fairs in America. The microphone used in the visual was inspired by images from the county fair's archives.
Co-writer Sam Hunt was part of the UAB program in the mid 2000s and was the team's starting quarterback in all 12 games during his final season in 2006. His first major writing credit after starting a Country music career was Kenny Chesney's "Come Over."
